The quality of the proper installation is just as important as the manufacturing of the product itself. The experience and care of our installers doesn't start with installation, each Riverstone installer is also knowledgeable and proficient in all phases of manufacturing and finishing. We install nearly every product we manufacture.
Our installers are friendly and approachable craftsman with years of quality installation and manufacturing experience.
The design process is the first step to bring a great concept to reality. Because every successful project starts with a great design, this is where the Riverstone difference begins. Whether you are in need of a design or your planning is already underway, we are happy to work with your architect, interior designer, and contractor to achieve the best product.
Many companies will rush through, the design process or simply just don't have the experience or ability to create the right concept for the space. This is something we do very well. Not only are our designs esthetically pleasing but they are also extremely functional.
To help visualize design concepts, we use state-of-the-art software to provide an exact plan of your project. The kitchen to the right is one such example. Not only can you easily see how it will look, but you also get a sense of the feeling the new space creates.
We will work with you to learn about your vision, your space, your budget, and your timeline. Then we will create a unique plan to make your vision a reality.
Because all of our projects are custom designed for a specific application each location is carefully measured by a project manager with a minimum of 15 years of experience to ensure a proper fit.
We use state-of-the-art CNC Router technology and software to complement and enhance the skills of our employees who create our unique projects. Our manufacturing process ensures strict adherence to each detail of the design. This way, even the smallest detail does not go overlooked.
The finishing stage is where the beauty of the wood is brought to life. From a nearly endless array of stain and glaze colors and painted lacquer finishes, we know precisely how to achieve the best results. All of our finishing is done in-house in a separate room designed to minimize particulates in the air with a climate controlled environment.
People make the difference! When you choose Riverstone, you don't just get new cabinets, you get a whole team of experienced professionals working for you from the moment you say, "Let's go!" Our employees are experienced and knowledgeable, and love what they do.
Through mentoring and cross training, we have a team that is dedicated to the noble traditions of quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Every member of our team lives and works by the highest standards; standards we've set for ourselves and our products.
In 1976 Sy and Dianne Miller started Sy's Cabinets which originally specialized in manufacturing traditional wood cabinets. They quickly expanded to include commercial casework serving the St Cloud and Minneapolis markets. In 2000, Jay and Kim Galazen purchased Sy's Cabinets and continued to offer residential and commercial casework under the new name Riverstone.
Collectively the business has experienced over 40 successful years. Many of our methods and manufacturing standards today are a derivative of Sy's strict adherence to exceptional quality and customer service. Today Riverstone has added CNC manufacturing technology and expanded into store fixtures, and performs work in several states.
